Our services
Manual Therapy
Following the evaluation, the therapist may choose to perform hands-on treatment to improve your condition. This includes massage, stretching, visceral and fascia mobilization, breathing facilitation, and more. This should not be painful, conversely it will adjust your nervous system in order to help reach your desired goals.
Exercise Plan
Our physical therapist will design and guide you through an exercise program tailored to your needs. This includes strengthening weak areas and/or releasing tightness to restore balance within the body. Your therapist will coach you through each exercise with focus on form and proper completion.
Patient Education
We believe knowledge of your condition is empowering! This includes a brief description of your anatomy to help better understand how your systems work together. You may also review an exercise program or other suggested home activities to aide in your recovery.
Dry Needling
Dry Needling is similar to acupuncture in that it utilizes the same type of needles. The goal of dry needling is to assist in reseting the nervous system by creating a very localized inflammatory process. It is used as an adjunct to treatment in reducing pain or facilitating a muscle contraction. Many research articles have shown the benefits of dry needling in reducing symptoms of chronic pain and bowel/bladder dysfunction.
